Golden Hour Award awarded to CPSO Deputy Keehnen

Lake Charles Memorial Health System Trauma Center awarded a “Golden Hour Award” and challenge coin to Deputy Hunter Keehnen with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office. Deputy Keehnen was recognized for his decisive action that expedited the care of a critically injured trauma patient to LCMH's Trauma Center and the patient was able to receive care within the “Golden Hour of Trauma.”

This award and coin is given to emergency responders and those involved with the provision of trauma care, who display outstanding and heroic life-saving care when faced with a difficult situation.
