CPS®, in partnership with Lake Charles Memorial Health System, is hiring a per diem, non-exempt Pharmacy Technician in the Medical Plaza Pharmacy. In this position you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, delivering, and restocking medications
- Performing order entry
- Procuring drugs
- Billing
Medical Plaza Pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm and is a stand alone pharmacy that is located within Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. CPS®, in partnership with Lake Charles Memorial Health System, is also hiring a per diem, non-exempt Staff Pharmacist .
As a Staff Pharmacist you will:
- Fill orders with accuracy
- Check technician-prepared products before release
- Maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances
- Enter orders and patient information with accuracy
- Administer immunizations
- Update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy
- Aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.
The LCMHS pharmacy utilizes Medselect and Paragon and is open 24 hours/ 7 day a week. This position works a minimum 4 hours per month and up to a maximum of 19 hours per week covering day and evenings shifts as needed. For additional information about this opportunity, click here.
