Everyone knows that eating more fruits and vegetables is a very important part of health and wellness, and having access to the freshest, locally-grown produce can help not only make eating better easier, but also more delicious. Join Dr. Stewart Greathouse, a family medicine physician with Memorial Medical Group, for Healthy Eating – Straight from the Source, a free seminar about the importance of healthy eating, and the availability and schedule of local farmer’s markets.

Dr. Greathouse earned a bachelors degree in biology from Pensacola Christian College before receiving his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. He completed his family medicine residency through the Memorial/LSUHSC Family Medicine Residency Program, and provides comprehensive care for patients, from pediatric through geriatric.

Healthy Eating – Straight from the Source will be held Thursday, June 30 at 12 noon in the Shearman Conference Center at Memorial Hospital on Oak Park Boulevard. A light lunch will be served, and reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance.
