Ways to Give to The Foundation at Lake Charles Memorial Health System
The steadfast support of our donors has helped make Lake Charles Memorial Health System a leading healthcare provider in southwest Louisiana. Donations may be made to LCMHS as unrestricted or restricted gifts. You will find the list of restricted funds you may donate to here. Your gifts are always appreciated and may take the form of one gift or a combination.
There are many ways to show your support, and we are thankful for all our donors who have embraced our mission. Here are a few ways you can give to The Foundation.
Cash, Check, Credit Card - Cash, checks and credit cards are the easiest and most popular way to make a gift to the Foundation or to a specific Foundation fund. Donations may be made on a one-time or recurring basis.
To donate by check, checks must be made payable to “The Foundation at LCMH.” Check can be mailed to The Foundation at LCMH, 1701 Oak Park Blvd, Lake Charles, LA 70601. If you would like your donation to go to a designated/restricted fund, please make a note on the check with the name of the fund.

Corporate Matching - A matching gift to LCMH allows your gift to our health system to double (and sometimes triple) in value. Many businesses and corporations have a Matching Gift Program to encourage philanthropic giving by their employees. Many Matching Gift Programs have specific restrictions regarding the award of a matching gift, so please contact your HR Department or The Foundation for additional information or clarification.
Legacy Gifts or Planned Giving - Legacy Giving or Planned Giving allows a donor to make a gift commitment to Lake Charles Memorial Health System, but to delay delivery of the final benefit of the gift until a later time. Tribute Gifts - Through tribute gifts, The Foundation at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital provides a unique way to carry on your legacy. Tribute or named gifts can honor a loved one, pay tribute to a family, or recognize an organization for many years to come. Start a Fundraiser – The Foundation welcomes all opportunities to engage with local businesses, churches, and civic organizations in fundraising opportunities that benefit the patients of LCMHS.
If you are not sure where to start, an example is HeartiGras, which is a Foundation organized peer-to-peer fundraising event that engages with local businesses to raise funds for the Heart Fund and educates SWLA on heart healthy habits. We welcome new participants.
