Located only a few blocks east of Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, Memorial Behavioral Health Clinic combines psychotherapy and medication management for the community. Licensed professionals provide group, individual and family therapy to address issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, distorted thinking, and other symptoms that can disrupt a person’s life.

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for behavioral health issues covering emotional and mental health issues are also available by physician referral. The benefit of IOP is to allow individuals to receive treatment without the confinement of a hospital, to prevent hospitalization, to assist in the transition from hospitalization to home, while encouraging growth, development, and improved function.

There are a wide range of services offered at the Behavioral Health Clinic including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, PTSD, eating disorders, marriage/family counseling, panic disorders, sleeping disorders, ADHD, and grief.

Inpatient Services are available at Archer Institute, located on Nelson Rd. Both inpatients and outpatients can receive treatment from a team of professionals including psychiatrist, psychiatric nurses, social works, case managers, activity therapists, dietitians, occupational therapists, and behavioral health coordinators.

The Behavioral Health Clinic is at 2829 4th Ave, Suite 150. The office is behind Home Health Care 2000 and Cotton's Famous Hamburgers.
