About This Location
Memorial Wound Care specializes in the treatment of chronic wounds. Approximately six million Americans suffer from chronic, non-healing wounds. At Lake Charles Memorial Health System, we are dedicated to lowering this statistic. We now offer two locations to treat patients with chronic wounds. The physician team is made up of local physicians and nurses trained in wound care healing. Chronic wounds refer to any wound that lingers for weeks or months without healing.
Treatment areas include diabetic skin sores, vessel disease wounds, coccyx ulcers, pressure sores, surgery wound breakdown, and poor circulation wounds.
If you have a wound that has not healed in 30 days or if you have diabetes, circulatory problems, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis or scleroderma, give our office a call today.
Memorial Wound Care works with all home health agencies in the area and family members willing to provide home care between office visits. Most insurances accepted. Physician referrals are welcomed, but not necessary.
