Security and Safety

The LCMHS Security Team’s mission is to maintain the safety and security of everyone at our facilities. With crime prevention as the ultimate goal, the LCMHS Security Team is on duty 24-hours a day. Officers are responsible for patrolling our campus and securing the facilities, as well as enforcing parking policies, assisting staff with difficult patient situations, maintaining lost and found and providing safety escorts for patients and visitors in need.

The Security Checkpoint is located at the main entrance of the Emergency Room. The team can also be reached at 337.494.3097 or by dialing 3333 on any LCMH landline phone.

Lost and Found

The lost and found area is located at the Security Checkpoint located at the main entrance of the Emergency Room.

Reporting Suspicious Activity

Lake Charles Memorial Health System takes the health and safety of our visitors, patients and staff very seriously. If you notice or are made aware of suspicious activity, threats made towards staff, patients or visitors of the hospital, or are feeling unsafe, please contact the Security Team by calling 337.494.3097 or 3333 from any hospital landline phone. Remember, if you see something, say something.

Security Escorts

The LCMHS Security Team is available to escort visitors to and from the hospital if they are feeling unsafe or unwell. For an escort, please call 337.494.3097 or 3333 from any LCMH landline.

Parking Policies

Please adhere to all Lake Charles Memorial Health System parking policies. Patient, visitor and staff parking are clearly marked for your convenience. Failure to adhere to parking policies could result in a citation or towing.
